Julia’s is not only a great destination for local, organic coffee and food, it’s also one of the best used bookstores in the area. You’ll find an unbelievable selection of books from best sellers to rare, unique books you won’t find in big box stores, all at excellent prices in a welcoming environment!

Our book departments include, but are certainly not limited to: art, cooking, crafts and hobbies, fiction, gardening, health, history, memoirs, religion, social sciences and a HUGE children’s section!

If your books are beginning to stack up and make their shelves sag, or are collecting dust in a box or closet, you can donate them to Julia’s to build and repair homes through Habitat Charlotte Region! We accept any books in good condition (please – no encyclopedias or magazines). We also accept all types of media: VHS tapes, DVDs, vinyl records, video games & more!

Host a book drive!

Aside from drinking delicious coffee and eating out-of-this-world food, the easiest way to support Julia’s mission is to host a book drive. It couldn’t be any easier: we provide all the materials, and all the host needs to do is provide a space and spread the word. Books build houses, too!
